Masa remaja ditandai dengan suatu proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang cepat terjadi baik secara fisik, psikologis, dan intelektual. Oleh karena itu diperlukan gizi yang cukup dan seimbang, termasuk kalori, protein, dan berbagai mikronutrien zat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahun remaja tentang pola konsumsi makanan yang baik melalui edukasi kesehatan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masayarakat ini dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan, diantaranya persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan tanggal 27 Mei 2024 di SMK Palapa Pare Kediri, sasaran 33 remaja. Kegiatan berupa pendidikan kesehatan melalui media power point dan permainan. Evaluasi kegiatan edukasi kesehatan dilakukan dengan memberikan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengetahui dampak kegiatan edukasi kesehatan yang dilakukan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja, yaitu didapatkan data sebelum edukasi nilai mean 65 dan sesudah edukasi nilai mean 81,87. Dengan pengetahuan yang baik diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pola konsumsi makanan yang baik.

Abstract  

Adolescence is characterized by a process of rapid growth and development both physically, psychologically and intellectually. Therefore, adequate and balanced nutrition is needed, including calories, protein and various micronutrients. This community service activity aims to increase teenagers' knowledge about good food consumption patterns through health education. The method for implementing community service activities is carried out in several stages, including preparation, implementation and evaluation of activities. The activity was held on May 27 2024 at Palapa Pare Vocational School, Kediri, targeting 33 teenagers. Activities include health education through power point media and games. Evaluation of health education activities is carried out by providing a pre-test and post-test to determine the impact of the health education activities carried out. This community service activity can increase teenagers' knowledge, namely obtaining data before education with a mean value of 65 and after education a mean value of 81.87. With good knowledge it is hoped that you can increase good food consumption patterns.
