UPAYA PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN TENTANG KELAINAN LETAK JANIN (LETAK SUNGSANG) PADA IBU HAMIL DI RUMAH SAKIT BHAYANGKARA PALEMBANG

Persentasi bokong atau letak sungsang merupakan letak memanjang dengan kepala janin di fundus dan bokong dibagian bawah kavum uteri. Persalinan sungsang memiliki resiko berakibat kematian baik pada ibu maupun bayi apabila tidak ditangani dengan baik. Berdasarkan data dari Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Palembang pada tahun 2016 ibu yang melahirkan dengan persentasi bokong sebanyak 24 orang, pada tahun 2017 ibu yang melahirkan bayi dengan persentasi bokong sebanyak 29 orang. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberikan edukasi dan meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang kelainan letak janin. Penyuluhan  dan  edukasi ini sangat penting kepada  ibu  hamil  untuk  mengetahui  kelainan letak janin agar bisa  menyelamatkan  nyawa  ibu  dan  janin. Metode penyuluhan adalah melalui Pendidikan Kesehatan langsung antara penyuluh dan peserta. Sasaran pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah ibu hamil yang ada di Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Palembang sebanyak 18 orang. Media    yang    digunakan    adalah  leaflet yang  berisikan  tentang  informasi  kelainan letak pada janin. Selama proses penyuluhan berlangsung peserta sangat antusias mendengarkan dari awal sampai akhir kegiatan. Hasil edukasi (penyuluhan) didapatkan sebanyak 77,8% pengetahuan ibu baik karena ibu menyimak saat dilakukan edukasi kesehatan (pendidikan kesehatan) dan adanya rasa ingin tahu dari ibu sendiri tentang kelainan letak (letak sungsang) pada janin. Ini membuktikan sebagai petugas kesehatan perlunya melakukan edukasi kepada masyarakat terutama pada ibu hamil untuk mengetahui apa kelainan letak (letak sungsang pada janin dan upaya pencegahan supaya tidak mengalami kelainan letak janin saat hamil. Bagi ibu hamil lebih aktif  lagi dalam pelayanan kesehatan sehingga ibu  hamil bisa mengontrol kesehatannya selama kehamilan.

Abstract

The percentage of the buttocks or breech location is an elongated location with the fetal head in the fundus and the buttocks at the bottom of the uterine cavity. Breech delivery has a risk of death both to the mother and baby if not handled properly. Based on data from Bhayangkara Hospital Palembang in 2016 mothers who gave birth with a percentage of buttocks as many as 24 people, in 2017 mothers who gave birth to babies with a percentage of buttocks as many as 29 people. The purpose of this community service is to provide education and increase the knowledge of pregnant women about fetal location abnormalities. This counseling and education is very important for pregnant women to find out fetal location abnormalities in order to save the lives of mothers and fetuses. The method of counseling is through direct Health Education between extension workers and participants. The target of this community service is 18 pregnant women at Bhayangkara Hospital Palembang. The media used is a leaflet containing information on location abnormalities in the fetus. During the counseling process, participants were very enthusiastic about listening from the beginning to the end of the activity. The results of education (counseling) obtained as much as 75% of maternal knowledge both because mothers listen when health education is carried out (health education) and there is curiosity from the mother herself about location abnormalities (breech location) in the fetus. This proves as a health worker the need to educate the public, especially pregnant women to find out what location abnormalities (breech location in the fetus and prevention efforts so as not to experience fetal location abnormalities during pregnancy. For pregnant women to be more active in health services so that pregnant women can control their health during pregnancy.
