Abstract
Anemia among adolescent girls is a significant public health issue, with a global prevalence of 29% and even higher rates in developing countries. This condition can lead to various long-term complications, including an increased risk of stunting in future offspring. This study aims to develop a preliminary design of a non-invasive, mobile-based early detection application for anemia and to evaluate its quality using the DeLone and McLean information system success model. The research employed a Research and Development approach conducted at the Adolescent Health Post (Posyandu Remaja) in Penatarsewu Village, involving 60 adolescent girls and interviews with healthcare professionals. Data were collected through questionnaires, and literature review. The findings reveal that system quality, information quality, and service quality significantly influence usage, user satisfaction, and net benefits. The strongest correlations were found between user satisfaction and net benefits (ρ = 0.835), and between system usage and net benefits (ρ = 0.788). The developed application features functions such as tracking iron tablet (TTD) intake, hemoglobin monitoring, health history records, and online consultation services. These results indicate that the application has the potential to be an effective and efficient tool in preventing anemia among adolescent girls. The integration of digital technology in education and early anemia detection has proven to enhance user engagement and improve the quality of community-based healthcare services.
