ASI eksklusif merupakan pemberian ASI saja tanpa makanan dan minuman lain pada bayi selama enam bulan pertama kehidupan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ASI eksklusif terhadap kemampuan motorik halus pada balita usia 6-24 bulan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik observasional dengan desain cross sectiona. Sampel penelitian adalah 58 balita di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Rejoso, diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria Inklusi antara lain yaitu bersedia menjadi responden, anggota posyandu balita 0-6 bulan dan balita yang mendapatkan ASI Eksklusif 0-6 bulan. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar observasi Denver II dan dianalisis dengan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara pemberian ASI eksklusif dengan perkembangan motorik halus (p-value 0,003 < 0,05). Dari hasil yang sudah ada bahwa balita yang menerima ASI Eksklusif  menunjukkan perkembangan motorik halus yang normal dan balita yang tidak menerima ASI Eksklusif mengalami keterlambatan perkembangan motorik halus (sespek). Dalam hal ini terdapat pengaruh pemberian ASI Eksklusif   terhadap perkembangan motorik halus balita. Disarankan agar pemberian ASI eksklusif terus digalakkan untuk menunjang tumbuh kembang anak.

ABSTRACK

Exclusive breastfeeding is the feeding of only breastfeeding without other foods and drinks to the baby during the first six months of life. This study aims to determine the effect of exclusive breastfeeding on fine motor skills in toddlers aged 6-24 months. This study uses an observational analytical method with a cross sectiona design. The research sample was 58 toddlers in the working area of the Rejoso Health Center, taken by purposive sampling technique with inclusion criteria, namely being willing to be respondents, members of the posyandu for toddlers 0-6 months and toddlers who received exclusive breastfeeding for 0-6 months. Data were collected using the Denver II observation sheet and analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed a significant influence between exclusive breastfeeding and fine motor development (p-value 0.003 < 0.05). From the existing results, toddlers who received Exclusive Breastfeeding showed normal fine motor development and toddlers who did not receive Exclusive Breastfeeding experienced delayed fine motor development (sespek). In this case, there is an effect of exclusive breastfeeding on the fine motor development of toddlers. It is recommended that exclusive breastfeeding continues to be encouraged to support children's growth and development.
