HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN IBU TENTANG NUTRISI DENGAN STATUS GIZI BALITA DI POSYANDU DESA WAJAK LOR KECAMATAN BOYOLANGU KABUPATEN TULUNGAGUNG TAHUN 2022

RELATIONSHIP OF MOTHER’S KNOWLEDGE ABOUT NUTRITION WITH NUTRITION STATUS IN POSYANDU WAJAK LOR VILLAGE BOYOLANGU DISTRICT TULUNGAGUNG REGENCY 2022

Abstract

Abstrak : Proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan pada masa bayi dan balita merupakan proses yang teramat penting dalam menentukan masa depan anak baik secara fisik, mental maupun perilaku. Untuk kebutuhan nutrisi balita diperlukan pengetahuan ibu tentang kebutuhan gizi, cara pemberian makan, dan jadwal pemberian makan anak balita sangat berperan dalam menentukan status gizi anak, salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan mencukupi kebutuhan anak-anaknya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan ibu tentang nutrisi dengan status gizi balita di Posyandu Desa Wajaklor.

Desain dalam penelitian ini adalah correlation, dengan metode penelitian cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua ibu dan balita yang ada di Desa Wajak lor Kecamatan Boyolangu yaitu 78 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling didapatkan sampel 32 responden. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada tanggal 3 Januari 2022 dengan memberikan kuesioner.

Dari hasil penelitian ini ada hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu tentang nutrisi dengan status gizi balita di Posyandu Desa Wajaklor Kecamatan Boyolangu Kabupaten Tulungagung tahun 2022, diharapkan posyandu dapat mengembangkan program dan informasi tentang status gizi.

Abstract : Growth and development procces in infants and toddlers are very important process in determining the future of children physically, mentally and behaviorally. For the nutritional needs of toddlers, it need mother's knowledge about nutritional needs, feeding methods, and feeding schedules for toddlers plays a very important role in determining the nutritional status of children, one of the efforts that can be done is to meet the needs of their children. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between mother's knowledge of nutrition and the nutritional status of toddlers the Posyandu, Wajaklor Village.

The design in this study was correlation, with a cross sectional research method. The population of this study were all mothers and toddlers in Wajak lor Village, Boyolangu District, namely 78 respondents with purposive sampling technique obtained a sample of 32 respondents. Data collection was carried out on January 3, 2022 by giving questionnaires.

From the results of this study, there is a relationship between mother's knowledge about nutrition and the nutritional status of toddlers at the Posyandu, Wajaklor Village, Boyolangu District, Tulungagung Regency in 2022, it is hoped that the Posyandu can develop programs and information about nutritional status.
